Ryan Mercatante is a director, writer, and producer based in Los Angeles, California. A recent graduate of the New York Film Academy, Ryan has had the pleasure to work in collaboration with a variety of other filmmakers on over one hundred different short films, music videos, and commercial work.
 
Ryan’s love for filmmaking began when he was 16 years old when he directed a documentary about violence in media titled “Disconnect” (2013), featuring Steven Ogg (Grand Theft Auto V, Westworld). Ryan directed music videos including Danezion Mills (Rhythm’s Got Me) and Taylor Alexander (Look My Way) in 2018.
 
He is currently on a festival run with two of his most recent films, "The Runaway" & “Concrete”. Winning multiple awards including "Best Student Film" from the Beverly Hills Film Festival as well as "Audience Choice Award - Suspense/Thriller" from the SENE: Film, Music & Art Festival. Ryan is also seeking representation to develop future feature film directing opportunities.
